Antique Venetian French Cross trade beads were very popular with the plains Indians during the fur trade. This particular bead was named “Cross Trails” by the Native Americans, for the “Different paths in life you can take”. The silver dangles are traditional Native American Symbols used for “Paths”. About 1 ¾” long.
